Kanuhura
resort (opened in February 2000) was designed as a five
star island hideaway, a unique resort, where service is
understood and luxury is elegantly understated. To keep
its natural charm the island has been built of natural
material, wherever possible.

Kanuhura is located on the eastern rim of the Lhaviyani
Atoll, and is a 40-minute seaplane flight from Male' International
Airport.
The island measures approximately 1km in length and 200
meters in width and is surrounded by white sand. In front
of the island, the lagoon is almost free of coral. This
is ideal for water- sports activities.
Dining at Kanuhura is a unique pleasure with a wide variety
of dishes offered at its three main restaurants: Thin Rah,
Olive Tree and The Veli Café. Guests may also choose to
dine in the privacy of their own villa.
The Veyoge Spa has its own lavish pavilion, complete with
a health and beauty centre with separate amenities for
men and women. For total beauty treatment, the Beauty Salon
offers hair care, manicure, pedicure and personalized make-up.
Aerobics, meditation and workouts in the gym are also offered
there.
The island also has two tennis courts, a squash court,
a games room, a scuba diving centre, as well as a supervised
